Just crank up that thermal maker on your back and you are good to go to explore new sights and regions in Costa Rica from the air. Just like that you can do those long distance flights or play down low. Would you like to take a peek into an active volcano? Not a problem. Cruising down those endless coastlines on a PPG? How about looking for crocodiles from the air or exploring up a Costa Rican river canyon? With a paramotor all these mind-blowing adventures become feasible!
Paramotors are still the odd bird in the sky in Costa Rica. However, with virtually no legal restrictions, we enjoy tremendous freedom to explore from our lofty seats in the sky. Naturally, the long coastlines and beaches are an obvious playground for PPG flying: the wind is generally onshore and laminar, beaches are great for launching and landing and the air is smooth as silk.

I did my first powered paragliding flights in 2016 and since 2018 I have been flying regularly and with passion whenever the occasion arises. I have not given up free flight, though. And why would you, when you can have the best of two worlds?
